ROOTSTOCKS
The RHM performs best on citranges, such as Carizzo, Troyer, and C35, but has also been trialled on Cleopatra, Trifoliata, and Benton Orange
GROWTH
The RHM has a vigorous, upright growth habit
It has tall and slender branches and no thorns
MANAGEMENT
The RHM is well suited to marginal soils.
Branch bending can be used to encourage a wide canopy during establishment
Vigour is controlled by summer pruning after flowering and fruit set
MATURITY
In Australia the RHM matures from mid-May to June in Queensland and mid-June to mid-July in New South Wales and Victoria.
YIELD
The RHM yields 50 to 60 tonnes per hectare when planted in 6m x 3m row spacing
